Muftisaab it is with total sadness to inform youthat my son has gone through a divorce and the Iddat expired on the 31st March 2014. The girl’s father has instructed their lawyers to request my son’s monthlypay-slip.Initially they had agreed on a maintenance ofR2000.00 for their child but now they want more. He has given her an Audi Car, all the furniture and has beenpaying the rental, monthly expenses, petrol, and telephone for the Iddat period. Up to now she has not signed thedivorce settlement. Please advise what more should we do as we agreed to all their conditions but nowthey want more and more. Wasalaam
