Assalamu alaykum

Mufti sahab I hope you are well.
In Pakistan there lived a Deobandi Aalim by the name of Maulana Musa Ruhani Al Bazi. I am not aware if you know about him,but he was considered an expert on the uloom of Islam such as Fiqh,Tafseer, Hadith etc as well as being a master of the Arabic language. He was a shaykh of Tasawuf too, having khilafah from other shuyookh. Maulana Musa Ruhani Al Bazi passed away in 1998 at the age of 63.

One of the books written by Maulana Musa is “Al Barakaat Ul Makkiyyah”.
The description of this book,as given on a certain website, is as follows:

“In this book the Maulana has collected more than 800 names of the Last Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa alaihi wa salam) from
authentic Islamic books in the form of salawaat (Durood). Al-Barakaat-ul-Makkiyyah is the first book in Islamic history in which so many authentic names of the Last Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa alaihi wa salam)are collected. The recitation of this book is very effective for completion
of hajaat and to overcome difficulties in this life. Thousands and thousands of
Islamic scholars and common Muslims are reciting it daily. Just start
reciting it and you will feel its Barakah in your daily life within a
few days”.

Another point to be noted is that after the Maulana passed away, for over 7 months a perfumed smell used to come from his grave. One of the Maulana’s students saw him in a dream after his death in which Maulana emerged out of the door of the Rauza Mubarak of Nabi Kareem(sallallahu alaihi wa alihi wa salam), smiling and in a very happy state. In the dream, the student informed Maulana that perfumed smell of Jannah is coming from your grave. To which Maulana replied that the reason is that my book “Al Barakaat Ul Makkiyyah” got qabooliat in the bargah of Nabi(sallallahu alaihi wa alaihi wa salam).
—————————————–
Now I have two questions.
1) Do you know about this author( Maulana Musa Ruhani Al Bazi)?
2) is it permissible to read this book of Durood with the intention of fulfilling hajaat and other difficulties and warding away worries and calamities?
3) if the answer to question # 2 is yes, then in that case will it be recommended to read this book?
4) Since the author of this book has passed away, people obtain ijazah to read this book from the son of its author, who is also the author’s khalifah. Is this practice correct and necessary?
