As Salaamu Alaikum. Respected Mufti saheb. “It is a well known juristic fact that in the last 10 days of Ramadhaan, I’tikaaf is Sunnat-e-Muakkadah ala Kifayah. The numerous spiritual benefits attained by those performing I’tikaaf are well documented. The one who goes out in Jamaat for 10 days, making I’tikaaf in various Masaajid earns similar spiritual rewards and benefits. Do you now see the commonfactor method of ours in relation to 10 days?” 1) What is the meaning of “similar spiritual rewards and benefits”? 2) Does “similar spiritual rewards and benefits” in the text above mean sawaab? For example can a person say: “The numerous sawaab attained by those performing I’tikaaf are well documented. The one who goes out in Jamaat for 10 days, making I’tikaaf in various Masaajid earns similar sawaab.” ? 3) Which is better during last 10 days of Ramadhan? I’tikaaf for 10 days or going out in Jamaat for 10 days? JazaakAllah khayr for the clarification. Marked as spam
