Aslaamualaikim 1) If a Muslim has a relax attitude towards kufr celebrations such as Christmas, Diwali, Easter etc. And if the Muslim gives presents, chocolates, cards to friends, neighbours, colleagues and wishes and says ‘merry Christmas, happy Easter, happy Diwali etc. Does all the above mentioned make the Muslim a kaafir? 2) If a Muslim wife is invited by her brothers to a Christmas dinner. At this dinner food is served, presents given to children. Also the wife is asked to dress up as Santa Claus (father Christmas) and she dresses up as Santa Claus and give presents to children. If the wife attends with no intention of kufr and no intention of believing in Christmas but with a relaxed attitude towards such celebrations and does any of the above. Does any of this make her a kaafir? 3) If a Muslim wife is invited by her brothers to a Christmas dinner. At this dinner food is served, presents given to children etc. And the wife says to her brothers ‘my husband doesn’t allow me to come to such a dinner/meal otherwise I would come’ .
