a person told me to give adhaan to a new born boy in the hospital. I knew that I had to give adhan in the right ear and iqamaat in the left ear of the baby. But the problem was that when the nurse brought the baby and she was holding it in her hands I quickly started giving adhaan in the left ear of the baby and in the middle of the adhaan I realised that I was giving the adhaan in the wrong ear, but I did not stop and went ahead and gave the full aadhaan in the left ear of the baby and iqamat in the right ear of the baby. Here I want to ask that whether I have done a sin and should have repeated the adhaan and iqamat or is it ok as I did it in a hurry. And in both, aadhaan and iqamat my pointing finger was inside my ear. Was the procedure correct.

Although the procedure is not correct, there is no need to repeat.
