Athaan and Iqamat for a newborn baby

Assalamu alaikum,
Respected Mufti Sahab,
When I was saying the adhan the baby was not held high and he was in the arms of the nurse, so while saying the adhaan and iqamat I had to bend to reach his ears. Should have I stood straight, then in this case I would not be able to reach the ears of the baby
