(1) Islaamic History Awaiting the arrival of Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) in Madinah
When the people of Madinah heard that Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) had left Makkah, they were so overjoyed that the little children waited atop the roofs to sing. The old and young all went out of town to receive him every day. They were returning one day when a Jew happened to spot Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) arriving and he announced, “O people! The person you have been waiting for so anxiously is arriving.” Upon hearing this, all the Muslims hurried out of town to receive Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) with cries of Allaah Akbar ringing in the streets. There were 500 of the Ansaar who received Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) that day.
(2) Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam)’s Miracle The Du’aa of Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam)
When Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) once dispatched Hadhrat Ali (RA) to Yemen as a judge, Hadhrat Ali (RA) submitted that he was just a youngster who did not even know what judgement meant. Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) then placed his hand upon the chest of Hadhrat Ali (RA) and made Du’aa saying, “O Allaah! Open his heart and make his tongue always true.” Hadhrat Ali (RA) declares that after this Du’aa he never once doubted any judgement he passed.

(3) A Fardh It is Fardh (obligatory) to pay the dowry
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “Give women (your wives) their dowries with a good heart (in good faith). If they (your wives) give you a part of it (if they reduce the amount) of their own accord, then partake of it (you may accept the reduction) with welcome and happiness (you will not be sinning by accepting it)”.

[Surah Nisaa, verse 4]

(4) A Sunnah Begging Allaah’s mercy
One may beg for Allaah’s mercy and forgiveness by reciting the following Du’aa:

وَقُل رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

TRANSLATION: O my Rabb! Forgive and shower mercy for verily You are the Best of all those who show mercy.

[Surah Mu’minoon, verse 118]

(5) An Important Act and its Virtue Proceeding to the Masjid for Salaah
Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said that when a person proceeds to the Masjid morning and evening for Salaah, Allaah prepares a welcome for him each time.

(6) A Sin Contesting the truth
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “Who can be more unjust than he who forges lies about Allaah (by claiming that Allaah’s has partners) when he is being called to Islaam? Allaah does not guide unjust people (the Kuffaar who refuse to accept the truth despite acknowledging that it is the truth)”.

[Surah Saff, verse 7]

(7) This World The nature of man
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “As for man, (instead of learning from the incidents of the past, he takes no heed and) when his Rabb tests him (to see whether he is grateful to Allaah) by granting him honour and favours, he says, “My Rabb has honoured me (because I am His chosen one and deserve this).” (Instead of expressing thanks to Allaah and using the wealth and favours in a manner that pleases Allaah, he becomes proud and conceited.) However, when He (Allaah) tests him (man) by reducing his sustenance (to see whether he exercises patience), he says, “My Rabb has disgraced me!” (He therefore fails the test by complaining and thereafter flouting Allaah’s commands in a desperate effort to acquire some wealth)”.                      [Surah Fajr, verses 15-16]
(8) The Aakhirah The tents of Jannah
Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, “There shall be dome tents of pearl in Jannah, the width of which will be the distance of sixty miles. There shall be a wife of the person in Jannah in every corner of the tent, with the one unable to see the other.”

(9) Cures from the Qur’aan and Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) Cure for 99 illnesses
Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said that the words “Laa Howla wa Laa Quwwata Illa Billaah” is a cure for 99 illnesses, the least of them being depression.

(10) Advice from

Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam)

Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, “The person who fears that he may be unable to wake up during the last portion of the night should perform the Witr Salaah during the early portion of the night. However, the person who is confident that he will be able to wake up should perform the Witr Salaah during the last portion of the night.”
