|(1) Islaamic History||The services Moulana Roomi (RA) rendered to the Deen|
|Moulana Roomi (RA) had spent 40 years of his life in serving Deeni knowledge such as teaching, lecturing and issuing Fataawaa. Sheikh Kamaalud Deen Jundi (RA) then instructed his devotee Shams Tabrez (RA) to go to Rome and ignite the heart of Moulana Roomi (RA). On his way, he happened to spend the night near an area where the eminent people of the city spent their leisure time. It was there that he met Moulana Roomi (RA). The two instantly recognised each other and then proceeded to spend six months engaged in spiritual exercises in the rooms of Sheikh Salaahud Deen Zarkoob (RA). Moulana Roomi (RA) then gave up teaching and spent every moment devoted to the service of Hadhrat Shams Tabrez (RA). In fact, the rumour spread in town that an insane man had cast a spell on Moulana Roomi (RA) which rendered him incapable of doing anything. Fearing trouble from the people, Shams Tabrez (RA) fled and went to live in Damascus. However, his parting was so traumatic for Moulana Roomi (RA) that he spent the rest of his days in silence. When he did speak, it would only be poems, which were recorded by his students and were eventually compiled into the Mathnawi. These poems cover subjects as diverse as beliefs, miracles, Tasawwuf, Ibaadah, philosophy and science, all rendered in a most appealing manner. Moulana Roomi (RA) eventually passed away on Sunday the 5th of Jumaadal Ukhra 672 A.H.|
|(2) Rasulullaah (SAW)’s Miracle||The hymning of Tasbeeh from stones|
|Hadhrat Abu Dharr (RA) reports that they were once sitting with Rasulullaah (SAW) when they heard the hymning of Tasbeeh from some pebbles that were in his hand. Rasulullaah (SAW) then handed the pebbles over to Hadhrat Abu Bakr (RA). He then handed them to Hadhrat Umar (RA), who handed them over to Hadhrat Uthmaan (RA). The pebbles continued hymning Tasbeeh in their hands as well but then stopped when it was handed over to anyone other than them.

|(6) A Sin||Disobeying Allaah and His Rasool (SAW)|
|Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “Whoever disobeys Allaah and His Rasool (SAW) and oversteps His limits (later dying as a Kaafir), Allaah shall enter him into the Fire (of Jahannam) where he shall live forever. He shall suffer a disgracing punishment”.
[Surah Nisaa, verse 14]
|(7) This World||The life of this world is a deception|
|Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “O people! Allaah’s promise (of resurrection) is certainly true, so never let the worldly life deceive you (into thinking that you will never be resurrected), nor should the great deceiver (Shaytaan) deceive you about Allaah (by telling you that you may continue sinning because Allaah will forgive you). Indeed Shaytaan is your enemy, so treat him as an enemy. He calls to his party (followers) only so that they become inmates of the Blaze (Jahannam)”.
[Surah Faatir, verses 5-6]
|(8) The Aakhirah||Mouths will be sealed on the Day of Qiyaamah|
