(1) Islaamic History Sultan Salaahud Deen Ayyoobi (RA)
Sultan Salaahud Deen Ayyoobi (RA) is known as the conqueror of Baytul Muqaddas. He was an accomplished king during the 6th Islaamic century and is known as Ayyoob because his father’s name was Ayyoob. He grew up in a middle-classed but noble home and was trained as a military man. After becoming the king, he made many sacrifices and needed to exercise great fortitude. He made it his objective in life to uplift the name of Allaah in this world and in this he realised his greatest feat, which was to free Baytul Muqaddas from the hands of the Kuffaar. The Christians had ruled Baytul Muqaddas for 90 years, during which time they had oppressed the Muslims most savagely. However, when he conquered the land from the Christians, rather than taking revenge from them, Sultan Salaahud Deen Ayyoobi (RA) announced that every elderly person who cold not afford to pay the ransom should be set free to go wherever he pleased. They were then given the entire day to vacate the city and were permitted to visit whenever they pleased.
(2) Allaah’s Power Snow-capped mountains
Snow often caps the peaks of mountains in high-lying areas where temperatures are freezing despite the fact that such areas are closer to the sun. Contrary to this logic, temperatures actually drop as one goes higher. This can only be because of the immense power of Allaah.
(3) A Fardh The guarantee of protection for performing the Fajr Salaah
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that a person will be in the protection of Allaah when he performs his Fajr Salaah.                                       [Muslim 1493, from Hadhrat Jundub (RA)]
(4) A Sunnah Showing love to one’s children
When Rasulullaah (SAW) was once kissing his grandson Hadhrat Husayn bin Ali (RA), Hadhrat Aqra bin Haabis (RA) remarked, “I have ten children but never kiss any of them.” To this, Rasulullaah (SAW) replied, “Mercy will not be shown to those who do not show mercy.”

[Abu Dawood 5218, from Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah (RA)]

(5) An Important Act and its Virtue Reciting the Qur’aan
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “Recite the Qur’aan because it will intercede on behalf of its votary on the Day of Qiyaamah.”

[Muslim 1874, from Hadhrat Abu Umaamah (RA)]

(6) A Sin Passing judgement after taking a bribe
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “When a person passes judgement after taking a bribe, he will be cast into a pit of Jahannam that is so deep that he will not reach the bottom even after falling for five hundred years.”

[Targheeb wat Tarheeb 3176, from Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Abbaas (RA)]

(7) This World Who will be successful?
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “Successful is the person who, after accepting Islaam, is given that amount of sustenance that suffices for him and with which Allaah grants him contentment.”                                                                                       [Muslim 2426, from Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Amr (RA)]
(8) The Aakhirah What the people of Jannah can expect
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “Verily, the righteous (Mu’mineen) shall be enjoying bounties (in Jannah) while looking on (at the splendour around them) from couches. You will recognise the radiance of bounties on their faces (which will be bright and happy). They will be given pure sealed (preserved) wine to drink (completely unlike the impure and intoxicating wine of this world) the seal of which is musk. It is for this that competitors should compete (instead of competing for the inferior things of this world). Its mixture shall be of Tasneem (which is) a spring (of Jannah) from which those close to Allaah shall drink”.                       [Surah Mutaffifeen, verses 22-28]
(9) Cures from the Qur’aan and Rasulullaah (SAW) Cow’s milk
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “Drink cow’s milk. Because it grazes on every type of plant; it is a cure for every illness.”

[Mustadrak 8224, from Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Mas’ood (RA)]

(10) Qur’aanic Advice
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “Has the time not come for the hearts of the Mu’mineen to submit to Allaah’s remembrance and to the truth that has been revealed (The time has now arrived for them to forsake sin and to do everything to fulfil all Allaah’s commands)? (Submit now before it is too late and) Do not become like those who were given the Book before (the Jews and Christians), (who delayed submitting to their complete Deen and did as they desired) after which a long period of time elapsed (in this disgraceful manner) and their hearts (eventually) hardened (because of their incessant sinning, thereby depriving them of the ability to repent)? (In fact, even today) A large number of them (the Jews and Christians) are sinners (disobedient without any worry of retribution)”.

[Surah Hadeed, verse 16]
