A MUSLIM SCHOOL RECEIVES AN AMOUNT FROM JUSA AS ZAKAAT TO PAY TOWARDS SCHOOL FEES OF POOR STUDENTS.
THE MONEY IS PAID DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL, AND NOT TO THE STUDENTS (MOSTLY MINORS) OR TO THIER PARENTS OR GUARDIANS.
THE SCHOOL ALSO RECEIVES ZAKAAT FROM OTHER SOURCES .
THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 50 STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN DECLARED “ZAKAAT CASES” (IF SUCH WORD IS CORRECT).
THE COMBINED MONIES RECEIVED FROM JUSA AND OTHER SOURCES ONLY COVERS ABOUT 25 ZAKAAT CASES”.
THE PARENTS ARE THEREFORE UNKNOWINGLY PAYING FOR THE SHORTFALL.
LOT OF THE PARENTS FIND IT DIFFICULT TO MEET THE SCHOOL FEES.
THIS IS ZULM.

Muslims Schools generally have become Zakaat laundry machines. What gives the Jusa the Right and authority to dish out Zakaat to a particular school. For Zakaat to be valid ownership is a pre-condition. From the above no ownership is taking place at all - then how can the Zakaat be discharged. The wealthy children are being in-directly funded by Zakaat. Think carefully. The governors must be brought to book.
