Assalaamu Alaikum
In May last year I left a job at a Company to join another company. I was a member of a Provident Fund. According to the rules now a person is allowed ONE withdrawal (either lump sum or a portion – if a portion is taken then you cannot withdraw again until retirement). I chose not to withdraw my Provident Fund but transferred it to the Oasis Crescent Preservation Fund directly without me taking possession of it.
Do I have to pay Zakaat on this money.
