AssalaamuAlaykum Respected Mufti ,

I had an eczema problem few years back , Alhamdulilah it came right with medication and creams but a few affected areas still continue to trouble . Due to this when I make Wudhu sometimes a watery substance will come out especially if the affected eczema area has many cuts on it , generally during my Salaah this occurs after Wudhu . I have tried plasters but can’t keep a plaster on all the time and some have advised just make masah of that area but the problem is it is on my thumb of my left hand and I need to wash the other limbs like my face, right arm and also blowing my nose with my left hand and usually water will seep through the plaster – I was told that if the pus flows off the cut Wudhu will break even if it remains on the affected eczema area , keeping in mind the cuts are due to the sensitivity caused by the eczema . I was also told that I am a Ma’zoor if this continously happens but the problem is sometimes it flares up worse then other days and some days nothing will come out (sometimes the cuts heal , sometimes they open up because of weather or water or scratching in my sleep , many reasons etc.)so then I wouldn’t qualify for Ma’zur would I ? how do I read my Salaah like this because when it leaks then even with a plaster it would still go off the cut ? But it happens often enough so how can I repeat all those Salaah as it is not just 1 or 2 days but sometimes weeks ? please advise what do I do ?

A 'Mazoor' is when the oozing does not cease for that duration in which it takes for one to make Wudhu and perform Four Rakaats of Salaat and that condition lasts for one entire Salaat duration.
If water usage is going to worsen the cut, the oozing, and the pain then make 'Masa'. If you have to use your right hand then due to your situation do so.
