Please comment on the two quotes below from Imam Bayhaqi’s work ; Asma wa’s Sifat.

Abu Hanifa responded to the woman who asked him ”Where is Allah?” with ; ”Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala is in the Sa’maa (heaven), not on the ground.” On this a man responded; ”But what about Allah saying ‘And He is with you..’ (Al Hadid:4) ?” Abu Hanifah replied: ”This is like you are writing a letter to someone and saying ‘I am with you’ while in reality you are not with him.”

(Asma wa’s Sifat, Page 426)

”Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala is in the Sa’maa (heaven), not on the ground” on this saying of Abu Hanifa a man remembered him the ayat ; ‘And He is with you..’ (Al Hadid: 4)…Abu Hanifah said to that man; ”This is like you are writing a letter to someone and saying ‘I am with you’ while in reality you are not with him.”
