RESPECTED MUFTI
I WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT (NO FAULT OF MINE), MY LOSSES WERE:
CAR WRITTEN OFF : R54 000, HOSPITAL COSTS: R4000, TOWING & STORAGE:
R6000. TOTAL APPROX R64 000. I ALSO HAD TO BUY ANOTHER CAR : R80 000.

I RECEIVED R 27 000 FROM 3RD PARTY INSURANCE AND SOLD THE SCRAP CAR
FOR R8000. TOTAL R35 000.
I AM CLAIMING FROM ROAD ACCIDENT FUND. I NOW REALISE LAWYERS CLAIM
FOR “FUTURE LOSS OF INCOME” FROM RAF. IS IT PERMISSIBLE TO USE THIS
MONEY FOR MY LOSSES ALREADY EXPERIENCED. IF NOT, CAN I GIVE THE MONEY
TO SOMEONE TO PAY THE INTEREST ON THEIR LOAN, NOT EXPECTING ANY REWARD/GAIN WHATSOEVER. ALTERNATIVELY, WHAT CAN I DO WITH THIS
MONEY?

If there was in reality a 'future loss in income' then your claim is valid, you can take the money otherwise give away the money as stated.
