How does a character like Molvi Ebrahim Bham continue to operate?

By ‘operate’ I do not mean as the Secretary General of the Jamiatul Ulama South Africa, but as a speaker repeatedly being given public platforms all over South Africa.

He just came to Durban. He was honored with the Jummuah platform at Musjid Saliheen in Sherwood (8 October). And then in the night (8 October) he had ‘an exclusively interactive evening’ (Source: https://mobile.twitter.com/EbrahimBham/status/652220239678210049/photo/1) at the Glenwood Musalla.

Here is something to note about the Glenwood Musalla: the Imaam, a Mufti Ebrahim Buccus, is a graduate of the Islamic University of Madinah. The fact that this institution produces Salafis is no longer a secret. Along with Mufti Menk and Moulana Muaaz (Lakefield), perhaps Mufti Ebrahim Buccus is also a ‘hidden Salafi’?

Molvi Bhams’ errors are so manifest that I cannot understand how any Masjid can give him a platform. What is their motive in supporting him? He had a huge entourage of Molvis moving with him at the Glenwood Musalla, I was genuinely flabbergasted.

Other than the open proclamations of The Majlis and Hadhrat Mufti A.H Elias Sahib, and the alluded statements of Hadhrat Mufti Ebrahim Salejee Sahib of Isipingo Beach, particularly on the Palesteinian protest mess, where are all the other ‘Ulema?

Could Hadhrat Mufti Sahib maybe organize some sort of meeting with the silent ‘Ulama-e-Haq, produce a long list of names, and then publicly publish all the names of the ‘Ulema against Molvi Bham? In this way, the sincere followers of these silent but sincere ‘Ulama will have the correct understanding on Molvi Bham – and the Haqq will be proclaimed.

I am a layperson. Please comment and correct my understanding.

Jazakallah Khair

You state ‘Molvi Bham’s’ errors are so manifest – Kindly list in your next question and then i will comment.
These days error is given preference to truth. There is so much ‘baatil’ around that even the Moulanas do not know how to differentiate.
These days even Moualanas desire a ‘modern’ Islaam so opt for ‘Modern Moulana’.
