Aslaamualaikum Mufti Sahib. Please could you give an Islamic ruling.

If a Muslim husband feels that his wife might have done kufr and therefore might have lost her Imaan and their Nikaah broken. The husband feels like this because he heard and believes his Muslim wife, at some point has said some of the following statements below but can’t remember which one. Should the husband ask his wife which of the below 3 statements she said and whether she had belief in the statements (the wife might not be able to remember) OR should he ignore his thoughts, doubts and suspicions and carry on with his marriage? Is his wife still a Muslim?

Statements:
1) ” they say/people say/I’ve heard that the persons soul/ruh/atma wanders the Earth and also does things such as take revenge on their murderers, visit their families on thursday evenings/nights and other special occasions, the soul/atma doesn’t rest if in their lifetime they didnt get married to their true love etc.”

2)it’s his atma/soul that has come back to Earth to take revenge because he was killed innocently or to finish any unfinished business¬† or has come back for their true love or her atma has come back because she didn’t get to marry her true love or to meet their children and family’ etc.”

3) “the soul/atma wanders the Earth and comes back to Earth to meet their family and children, also does things such as take revenge on their murderers, visit their families on thursday evenings/nights and other special occasions, the soul/atma comes back to Earth because he/she doesn’t rest if in their lifetime on Earth they didnt get married to their true love etc.”

Jazakallah

Ignore the thoughts. Regard your wife as a wife. Proceed with life.
