salaams Mufti Sahib.
i have a shop and daily we sell items that we don’t have in stock.for example a customer comes in and orders five doors and pays for it and asks the doors to be delivered to his house.
we accept the money and issue a receipt.we then collect the doors or goods at the factory or supplier the same day and sometimes two or three days later and deliver it to the customer.a Muslim brother advised that this is haraam as you cannot sell an item you don’t have in stock.please advise.shukr
