Secretly accepting islam

I have reverted in march last year without the permission of my parents and ever since then i havent told them anything. they found material that i used to learn more about islam and they took it away from me.

i want to be a muslim and go public with my faith but im scared of what my family will do to me, please can you give me advie on how to handle this situation.
