A person has a few debts and is liable to receive Zakaat.
Is it permissible to pay the debt directly to the creditors and to inform the person that they paid R… of his debt with Zakaat or must the money first be given to the person and then paid.
The problem when money is given in his hands it is used for other things, not to pay his debts.
