Question ID: 19865

I am very confused about allegations Khanqah brothers make against Tabligh Jamat. Please answer the following:

1. For Islah a Shaykh is necessary. In Tabligh nowadays, there is no Islah as many Jamats do not even have an Alim in it?

2. For Dawat knowledge is required. Many in Jamat work do not have the necessary knowledge. How can they give dawat?

3. There is more benefit in Khanqah than going out in Jamat?

Private answer

1) Who said that the Jamaat is ‘Isah’.
2) The Hadith is clear: ‘Convey from me, even it be an Ayat’. So one does not have to a Moulana, Mufti etc. to do the above.
3) Each has its role and benefit.
Do not cause division by holding extreme attitudes.
