Respected mufti saheb #1575;لسلام عليكم
In response to a question regarding the total number of ayaat in the quraan,you mentioned that it is 6666 according to most scholars.can you please provide some reference to this.I have checked different books of Uloomul Quraan where this issue is discussed and the different opinions are mentioned, but there is no mention of this figure.The opinion of 6236 has been accepted as the most correct and all the quraan’s printed have 6236 verses.

Various scholars have various methods of counting this is not a matter of Aqaaid-Belief
