Assalamualaikoum,
I have been looking for muslim baby girls’ names on websites and I would like to know if the following names can be used for muslim baby girls and what are their meanings.
Mahdiya
Hessa
Ahdia
Alayna
Nuha
Jasmine
Can you please also advise whether a baby girl needs to have their father’s name as middle name?
Many thanks,
Salaam,
Nailah

1) Mahdiya = A rightly guided lady.
2) Hessa = Destiny; Pure pearl:
3) Ahdia = Unique; The One:
4) Alayna = Not good to keep as name.
5) Nuha = Intelligence.
6) Jasmine = Not advisable because of confusion with non muslim variant. Better Yasmin. Same meaning.
Try to keep names that do not sound like the non-believers.
