Question ID: 24864

In wanting to be keep the fast on Yuam Arafat; my logically considerations for selecting the day was based on:
(1) (a) The Day of Arafat, in Arafat is only on one day.
(b) There is no other Day of Arafat, in any other location in the World beside
when it takes place annually on the Plains of Arafat.
(2) The moons visibility is different in different regions in the World.
(3) That one should strictly follow the observation of the moon cycles, rather than
utilising scientific calculation methods.
(4) Whilst there are Muslim regions to our right on the same longitude, there are no regions to the right of South Africa on the same latitude.
The strongest of logic to me; appears to be that the Day of Arafat is the on the day that the people performing Hajj are on the plains of Arafat.
Please may I have you input in regard to this discourse.
