Assalamu Alaikum Mufti.
I have searched for a question like this but have not found one.
My fiance comes from a good pious family and so is my family, however we are having arguments with regards to the wedding.
We agreed to have a simple wedding but now things are changing.
She wants the following, but my family is not happy with it because we feel it is un islamic, and she is feeling that my family is forceful and only want our way.
Is the following wants allowed?
1) White wedding dress
2) Spending R20000 on decor
3) Wedding cake
4) Aisle decor
5) Fancy entrance table
6) Flower bouquet in hand
Are these islamically accepted?
Jazakallah.
