Mufti, I hav been always worried and concern since my step father past away on the following, my mum married my step father who has 8 children ,6 boys and 2 girls, my mother doesn’t have any children from marhoom step father, their father did not leave a sharia will, just somethings on a piece of paper, however in the beginning my mum called a moulana and asked what must be done, moulana advised that house must get sold, and shares must be give, but my mum did not like that answer and did not follow that advise, then my mother quitely gave each one a share according to market value without consulting the children she hand them these cheques,, but did not give the 2 youngest, she said at that time, she wil give this house to the 2 youngest but changed her mind , and said to the eldest that the house is his, and later changed her mine to sell it, my mum was court married so wound up the estate and the house was on her name, my mum has her own house with an outbuilding which she moved into and was collecting rent from mahrooms house and the children did not mind as long as my mum does not sell the house, but my mom changed her mind again and went to the process of selling the house with only the eldest son been informed and not the others, they took her to court for selling house and now its standing empty , my mum says she will not give them the house until they give her her share I feel my mum is been stubborn and wrong in this matter on not handing over the house to these orphans, she should not have mixed her monies up with this house and make that house into 2 houses and shud have just taken her share when she was collecting rental and give them their house, am I wrong in thinking this and confronting her about it, I have told her numerous times in a polite way that I am affraid for her answering to about this and I make for her to do the right, I want to know is what my mum doing correct or not as I am getting very scared after my daughter told me that she dreamt my mother was in a black pot with fire and her hands were coming out of it.

This has slowly developed into a fine mess because Shariaat was not followed. To set matters right the whole situation has to be reviewed from the death of step father. It has to be re-done.
