My sister who is in her 70s reads her salaat on a chair. She is quite worried whether she is making the correct arkaams regarding the position of her hands etc. and would therefore appreciate your informing her what is the correct procedure when performing salaat whilst sitting on a chair, that is, posture and also position of hands when going for Ruku and Sajda, etc.
Jazakallah for your advice and help. May Allah Paakh reward you abundantly, Ameen.

Best to have a raised platform where the head can be placed for sajda. Sitting will be regarded as standing.
Slightly bending with hand on thighs will be ruku.
