Assalaamu ‘Alaykum
. I am a medical student studying at university and I intend on getting married to another medical student.Since we are both still studying is it permissible for us to live separately for a year until we qualify? Secondly, is it permissible for my future wife to use contraception since we are both studying and I am not working and if she were to conceive a child it would place an added burden on both our families?
