Question regarding actual divorce statement and metaphors.

A man with divorce intention in the mind writes/says the word/letters ‘awa’. As he writes this word/letters, he does not know what this word/letters mean. But at the time of writing/saying this word/letters, he thinks to himself its divorce what ever it means.

He later finds out that in the Scottish language this word (awa) means ‘away/get lost’.

Does writing or verbally saying this word/letters with the divorce intention in the mind affect the nikaah? At the time of writing this word/letters he didn’t know that it meant ‘away/get lost’ in Scottish.
