As Salaamu Alaikum Muhatarrum Mufti Saheb

With reference to question id 22061, I think that there is some mis-understanding.

My question was to ask if it is permissible for Hanafi and shaafii brothers to recite the takbeer?

It seems I may have phrased the question incorrectly to give the impression that I was saying it is permissible. I wanted to ask Mufti sahib for the answer regarding its permissibility since it seems that some Ulamaa in our Masjid are saying it is permissible and others are saying not. There also seems to be a difference of opinion with regard to the Hanafi and sahaafi mathab regarding the permissibility. Also can both Mathabs recite it aloud or softly?

Jazaakallah Khairun.

AsalaamuAlaikum
السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُاللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

As per Hanafi Madhab, it is permissible to read the Takbeer in the Masjid.
Once is Waajib, 3 times is good.

It should be audible, i.e. for men, not loud, shouting, or in a chorus.

وَعَلَيْكُمُ السَّلَام وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ وَمَغْفِرَتُهُ
