Assalamualaikum Muftisaab

My dream:

I was walking pass my local park when I realised that today the park looked slightly different and that the atmosphere near the park also seemed different.

I peered into the park from outside and I saw that there were many flower pots (that in normal days are not there). Each pot seemed to have different flowers.

I then walked into the park and on my left side was an area of grass. I could see the grass but it was difficult to get onto the area of grass due to metal barriers in the way. However it was not impossible to get onto the grass because there was a gap between the barriers.

A number of people were next to the barriers as if they waiting for something to happen. All of a sudden Sheikh Abdurrahman Al-Sudais and some of his people appeared on the area of grass and were walking towards the barrier.

One person went through the gap and met Sheikh Sudais. I followed the person by going through the gap and I also had the chance to say salam to Sheikh Sudais and I shook his hand and I felt elated. I then started speaking to one of Sheikh Sudais’s people who understood and spoke English. This man had a beard.

I had a short conversation with the bearded man and I asked him about Sheikh Abdul Wali al Arkani (who is a great Qari) and Sheikh Abdul Muhsin al Qasim (who is the Imam of Masjid e Nabwi s.a.w.). This bearded man then said something about Mufti Ismail Menk. I asked him if Mufti Ismail Menk was also in the park and he replied in the affirmative.

Next I requested the bearded man to take me to Mufti Menk. I then got to Mufti Menk. I said salam to him, shook his hand and I thanked him for inspiring me through his bayans and writings. As I started walking away, Mufti Menk started making dua to Allaah with his hand raised up.

When I got home I was very excited and related to my mother that I had met two great people. I think I asked my mother to guess who I’d seen and she mentioned the names of two former prime ministers of Britain. I told my mother “No, I’ll give you a clue, the people that I met were not kafir.” I explained to her that I had seen and met Sheikh Sudais and Mufti Menk.

End of dream: I felt very disappointed as I suddenly woke up and realised that I was just in bed.

What is the interpretation of this dream? Jazakmullah. May Allaah reward you abundantly in the dunya and akhirah. Ameen

The dream of a non-Nabi is not by any standard a Shaari proof or divine inspiration, you are moving in the wrong direction.
