Aslaamualaikum

If one Muslim verbally says that her son has become very strict in Islam and that he has kept a beard and wears Islamic dressing even when he goes to university and work and he tells everybody to wear scarves, keep beards, pray, change lifestyle, stay away from Non mehrams, etc.

The second Muslim verbally says, “dont worry he will change and will change and will calm down and be less strict and he will ease down and go easy as he gets older and as life goes on and he will become more relaxed and chilled out. My brother was just like your son and now he is quite relaxed and less strict.”

Does the second Muslim lose his Imaan by verbally saying the above?
