Respected mufti sahib, how are you?

Question:

If a Muslim during Christmas time buys chocolates and a Christmas card for neighbours or work colleagues and gives them and says merry/happy Christmas.

Does doing the above make the Muslim a kaafir? With no intention of disbelief or other kufr belief.

May Allah bless you ameen

This practice is totally un-Islaamic. This is akin to aligning oneself to Kufr beliefs. This act is definitely sinful. One must abstain from such acts.
Although the person will not become a Kaafir.
