mufti im so disappointed in myself my mum i feel always picks on me which pushes me away from her so when she ask me to do someting at that time i don’t want to, so for example she will make no issue an issue small things an issue and go on and on about them then she will say I’m not feeling well but carry on talking and saying not so nice things I’m 34 and really don’t need child like treatment this breaks my confidence relationship and hurts me so much that I’m writing to u honestly i jus want peaceful relationship with her is there anything i can pray
she tries to put me down but i always put a brave face on laugh it off of course i get angry I’m not perfect i retaliate then regret it i want peaceful relation.
why do parents make it so hard for their children to be good to them?
if you are a good child they expect 99million more good we are not angels but humans
whats wrong with them or is it really us?
Allaah will reward you for your ‘Sabr’. The best policy is to remain silent.
In that success. If the complaint is valid- take heed to it, if not listen, keep quiet, do not retaliate – this as you know will cause even more problems.
Make a lot of ‘Istighfaar’, Allaah will open a way for you.
Assalamu Alaykum A mufti gave the Friday lecture at a masjid in Pietermaritzburg this week (22-11-2013l). I unfortunately only managed to hear a small part of it in which something about the people of Jahannum having blue eyes was mentioned....
