With Forex Islamic accounts, all "Riba" charges are canceled. My father is one of the trustees for a masjid wherein the Imam and his family have been robbed twice with the last incident being quite a violent ordeal. They wish to construct a boundry wall to his house for security purposes (at the moment there is a fence) and are asking if they can utilise either zakaah funds or interest money that they have in their posession to build this wall. The cost will be approximately R50,000 and the masjid does not currently have other surplus funds from which they can draw money.
Zakaat or interest money cannot be used. Raise funds and construct the wall.

Firstly realise and convince yourself firmly that sin is sin and that particular sin is terrible. Then all that leads directly or in-directly to the sin must be addressed, controlled, dispelled and cut off. Be in the state of purity so that at any time you can make Wudhu and Salaat.

MY father === expired in d month of feb 2009,exactly 11 month after d deah of my mother..he have two sons n 4 daughter behind..property owned by my father was one successful running business of medicine.In dat shop my father had 24% share ,my elder brother 24% ,younger brother 24% n rest belongs to oder friendz n relatives...Accordin to me d share f my father 4m d business has not been distributed in accordance with islamic inheritance law..my brother convinced me n my sisters dat v will not ge our fathers share from d business shop,as my brothers r d ones working in d business..My two brothers distributed d share of my father which was total 24% among demselves into {12%each}...IS it proper 4m d islamic point f law..the income from d profit of d shop owned by my father from d time of death of my father till today was never shared among me and my sisters...i too never asked for any share in d income from d shop expecting tha someday my brothers wil realise it n give me n my sisters d share of d profit from the shop,but that did not happened so far...i would like to clarify that i m not contributing anything or helping my brother in running the shop....AM I entitled to receive the share in profits from the shop as per as islamic shariah from the date on which my father passed away till today..... Asalaamualaikum Mufti i hope you are well. i have an uncontrollable temper and have a problem with insecurities. My x husband had an affair and i think this insecurity could stem from that.the problem is that my finacee has an x wife. they have kids. He went into her house recently and said it was due to something regarding the kidds and that the kids were there at the time.he didnt answer my calls.later called and lied stating he had met an old neighbour and his fone was in the car...for TWO hours!! i lost it and even tried to run the car off the road. i only get angry due to him in constant contact with his x and other female friends.i never have an anger management problem other then this ..he now states i am the one who needs help and will not marry me due to my insecuritys and jealousy and anger.i do not fight over anything with him..only the women. what advice can mufti give him and me?
Consult your elders on this before making your life long decision of marriage. Be careful. Be cautious. Do not put yourself in unnecessary trouble. Avoid at the same time suspicion.

Assalaam.. What is the role and responsibility of a wife/mother? How is she supposed to teach deen to her children if she doesnt have much ilm herself? What must a woman do to hold her family together and encourage them to follow deen if the other members do not show much interest?
You do not have to be a super scholar to teach Islaam. The beauty of Islaam lies in simple practise, which is easy and universal. Concentrate on that. Basic tenants and information of Islaam is on our site. Be practical children will look and learn.
