Any bird which is not accustomed to or seasoned to be caged, restricted is not allowed to be kept as a pet. If it does not mind to be caged then it is permissible to do so. But it has to be treated well at all times otherwise it will be sinful bringing the displeasure of Allaah. Be cautious.
