They look very pagan, polytheistic and repulsive, as Christians always use them in their churches to count their "hail Mary's."
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has told us to , "Khalif ul Musrikeen...." i.e distinguish yourselves from the pagans/polytheists. So we must never copy the polytheists in their religious practices.
So kindly remove this abomination from your home page. May Allah reward you for following the sunnah of our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

I would like to ask a question in regards to Shabe Baraat.. must people really cook all different types of food & lay as they say for the Marhooms? I fail to understand cos i believe that it's the recitation of the Quran & our Dua's is all that the Marhooms need must we really take out food for them I know that Hindu's use this as a way of their practice for the dead.. there sre so many confused people out there that actually don't know if we should actually make different types of food for our Auspicious nights? what about people that don't actually have money to buy all these luxuries to prepare... pls help us clarify this into our understanding.

Could you perhaps find an article or hadith that clearly spells out that it is not right to live together without having to have made nikkah .
I have a friend who is married in court to a hindu lady . They have been married for the passed 11 years . I don’t think that he really understands why it is so important to make Nikkah and to live a proper Islamic Life. I also don’t think that his wife also knows the importance of making nikkah and becoming a Muslim . I do understand that one should become Muslim not because of a partner but because of what Islam is all about.
The other issue is could you also source something regarding the living of dogs in ones house . His wife owns two dogs that they treat like babies , I have read in the Muslimah book that one should not allow the living of animals in ones home as the angels will not enter your home .
This is a very good friend and he is a good person , But needs something that he could really convince his wife. He mentioned that the reason why she does not want to convert is because she is an only child and if her parents should die that she cannot bury them if she were Muslim . Is this True ? She and her parents don’t practice much of their religion.
Is what one days on earth not more important then how one gets buried

It is a absolutely fallacious reason. If she is Muslim, a parents die then she does not have to bury them. These people are living a 'dogs' life.

Assalaamulaikum Mufti
My wife and I have been married for over 10 years and have 3 children. She was Roman Catholic before and embraced Islam before we made nikkah. She is a good wife and wonderful mother to our children. Over the years, she has been to many teachers but has not found a suitable one as they were teaching her rituals in Islam and could not answer the questions she had,based on her background and upbringing. I could always sense that she did not fully believe that Mohamed (SAW) is the last menssenger of Allah and when we would get into disussions about it, it would always be a heated discssion and then she would rather remain silent. I therefore never raised this issue too often. Over the last few months we have had this discussion again and it is clear that she still believes in the fact that Esa (AS) is the son of God. She has never tried to influence the kids in this way and even teaches them their madressa work
What Should I do?
Should I persist and be patient, hoping that one day she will truly believe?
Would I be allowed to stay married to her knowing that she does not fully believe in he oneness of Allah?

Is it permissible to assist a non Muslim while your Muslim friend suffers?

This depends on the level of suffering of the "Muslim friend" in comparison to that of the non-Muslim. If the non-Muslim does not have basic survival items if living, whilst the "Muslim friend" has this but is "suffering" then aid the non-Muslim. So one requires to reasonably, sensibly, carefully assess the situation before making a decision. Use the assistance of your local Ulema and Ma- Shaikh to do so.

I have a friend who is non-Muslim. He pleaded me to bring him to the Mosque for Jumu'ah Salaat for the purpose of seeing what we do in the Mosque. Should I take him?

You may bring him. Ask him to take a bath and let him sit in the back from where he may watch the entire proceedings. However, some Shaafi scholars are of the opinion that he should not be allowed in the Musjid, in this case let him view from the window or door.
