(1) Islaamic History Rasulullaah (SAW)’s daughter Hadhrat Faatima (RA)
Hadhrat Faatima (RA) was Rasulullaah (SAW)’s youngest daughter and the wife of Hadhrat Ali (RA). She was born five years before Rasulullaah (SAW) announced his Prophethood, which was the year when the Kabah was rebuilt. She suffered many difficulties during the days in Makkah and then migrated to Madinah. She was married to Hadhrat Ali (RA) in the year 2 A.H. Her life is a shining example to all Muslim women. Despite being the most beloved daughter to Rasulullaah (SAW), she did all her housework herself and was content with the fewest household goods. Rasulullaah (SAW) said that from all the women of the world, the most exemplary were Hadhrat Maryam (RA), Hadhrat Khadeeja (RA), Hadhrat Faatima (RA) and Hadhrat Aasiya (RA). She passed away in the year 11 A.H.; only six months after Rasulullaah (SAW) passed away. She is buried in Jannatul Baqee.
(2) Allaah’s Power The changing of the day and night
From the time that the earth was created, the night arrives at its appointed time, as does the day. It has never happened that the sun rises in the middle of the night to bring the day and never does the sun set at midday to bring on the night. Never does the day arrive a second earlier, nor does the night ever arrive a second later. It is only Allaah Who ensures that this system runs perfectly.
(3) A Fardh The husband’s share in his wife’s estate
Allaah says, “You (husbands) shall inherit half of what your wives leave if they do not have children. (However) If they (your wives) have children, then you shall inherit a quarter of what they leave after the bequests they made and (after settling their) debts”.[Surah Nisaa, verse 12]
(4) A Sunnah Passing the hands over the face after Du’aa
Whenever he raised his hands in Du’aa, Rasulullaah (SAW) only put them down after passing them over the face.[Tirmidhi 3386, from Hadhrat Umar (RA)]
(5) An Important Act and its Virtue The reward of 40 million good deeds
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that the person who recites the following Du’aa ten times daily will receive the reward of 40 million good deeds:

أَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَّآ إِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ اِلٰهًا وَاحِدًا

أَحَدًا صَمَدًا لَّمْ يَتَّخِذْ صَاحِبَةً وَّلَآ وَلَدًا وَّلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدْ

“Ash-hadu Allah Ilaaha Illall-lahu Wahdahu Laa Shareeka-Lahu Ilaahan Waahidan Ahadan Samadan Lam Yattakhidh Sahibatan Wala Waladan Walam Yakul-lahu Kufu-wan Ahad”

TRANSLATION: I bear witness that there is no illah but Allaah, Who is Alone, Who has no partner. The One illaah, only One, Independent, Who has neither taken a wife nor children, and there is none equal to Him.

[Tirmidhi 3474, from Hadhrat Tameem Daari (RA)]

(6) A Sin The punishment for the one who consumes interest
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that when he was taken on the Mi’raaj journey, he saw people with bellies the size of houses. From the outside, serpents and scorpions could be seen inside their bellies. When Rasulullaah (SAW) asked Hadhrat Jibra’eel (AS) who these people were, he was told that they were those who consumed interest.[Ibn Maajah 2273, from Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah (RA)]
(7) This World What has been said to the world
Hadhrat Silt bin Hakeem (RA) says that we have been informed that the directive has been given to this world stating, “Serve those people who forsake you and make those people serve you who give preference to you.”[Zuhd of Ibn Abi Dunya 145]
(8) The Aakhirah The Day of Qiyaamah
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “(Do not forget the Day of Qiyaamah) When the sun is folded (will lose its light), when the stars fall down (and cease to exist), when the mountains are made to fly about (like flakes of wool after being flung into the air by violent earthquakes), when pregnant camels are abandoned (left by their owners). (Although pregnant camels are highly prized and valuable, people will have no interest in them or in any other valuables when the fear of Qiyaamah overwhelms them.) When (even) wild animals are gathered (together on the Plains of Reckoning so that oppressed animals are given the opportunity to take revenge from the aggressors. They will then all be turned into dust). When the oceans are set alight. (The waters of the ocean will be heated and when the heat becomes intense, all the water will evaporate and fire will then take its place)”.[Surah Takweer, verses 1-6]

(9) Cures from the Qur’aan and Rasulullaah (SAW) Curing toothache
When Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Rawaaha (RA) was once suffering from severe toothache, Rasulullaah (SAW) called him close, placed his hand on the affected area and recited the following Du’aa seven times:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَذْهِبْ عَنْهَا سُوءِهٗ وَفَحْشَهٗ بِدَعْوَةِ نَبِيِّكَ

الطَّيِّبُ المُبَارَكُ المَكِينَ عِنْدِكَ بَسْمِ اللهِ

The pain was immediately alleviated.

[Bayhaqi 2433]

(10) Qur’aanic Advice
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “Seek forgiveness from your Rabb then turn to Him. Indeed my Rabb is Most Merciful, Most Loving”.[Surah Hood, verse 90]
