(1) Islaamic History Sheikh Abdul Qaadir Jaylaani (RA)
Peerane Peer Sheikh Abdul Qaadir Jaylaani (RA) was born in the town of Gilaan in Iran in the year 470 A.H. He was from the progeny of Hadhrat Hasan (RA) and arrived in Baghdad, which was then the seat of learning, when he was just 18 years of age. All commonly accepts his knowledge and piety and his words were so effective that any Jew or Christian present in his discourses would accept Islaam and Muslims would repent from their wrongs. It was for this reason that over five thousand Jews and Christians accepted Islaam at his hands and over a hundred thousand Muslims repented because of this. Because the people during the time of Sheikh Abdul Qaadir Jaylaani (RA) behaved as if they were never going to the Aakhirah, he focused their attention towards the Aakhirah in his discourses and created the love for Allaah within their hearts. This always brought the crowd to tears. He is the founder of the Qaadiriyya line of Tasawwuf. He passed away at the age of 90 in the year 561 A.H.
(2) Rasulullaah (SAW)’s Miracle Blessings in a single cup of food
Hadhrat Samurah bin Jundub (RA) reports that a cup of some food was once brought to Rasulullaah (SAW). From the same cup, Rasulullaah (SAW) fed a group of the Sahabah (RA), after which another group arrived and ate. In this manner, many groups of Sahabah (RA) arrived and continued eating from the cup from the morning until the time of Zuhr. “Did the food keep increasing?” someone asked Hadhrat Samurah (RA). He replied, “What wonder is there when the food kept coming from the heavens!”

[Bayhaqi 2342]

(3) A Fardh Paying debts
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that delaying in the payment of debts when one has the means to settle it is a form of oppression (therefore a Haraam act).

[Bukhaari 2400, from Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah (RA)]

(4) A Sunnah Du’aa using the Ism A’zam
When Rasulullaah (SAW) once heard a person making Du’aa, he said, “You have made Du’aa using the Ism A’zam, which is a name because of which any Du’aa will be accepted. This Ism A’zam is:

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنّيٓ أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّيْ أُشْهِدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِيْ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَم يَكُنْ لَّهُ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ

TRANSLATION: O Allaah! I beseech You by affirming that You are Allaah, there is no illah but You, the One, the Self-Subsisting, who begets not and is not begotten, and who no one else resembles in any way.”

[Tirmidhi 3475, from Hadhrat Buraydah (RA)]

Rasulullaah (SAW) once asked the Sahabah (RA), “Should I not tell you about the one for whom Jahannam is forbidden? It is forbidden for every such person who treats people with kindness and sympathy.”

[Tirmidhi 2488, from Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Mas’ood (RA)]

(6) A Sin Concealing testimony
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “Do not hide testimony (when you are called to deliver it) for whoever hides it has a sinful heart. Allaah knows well whatever you do”.

[Surah Baqara, verse 283]

(7) This World People who desire only this world
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “Whoever desires the pleasures of this world, We shall speedily grant (him/her) whatever We will (not necessarily what s/he wills) for whoever We will (and not for everyone who wills) in this very world, and then We will appoint Jahannam for him. He will enter it admonished (condemned) and rejected”.

[Surah Bani Israa’eel, verse 18]

(8) The Aakhirah The punishment in the grave is true
When Rasulullaah (SAW) once passed by two graves, he said, “The people in these two graves are being punished for acts that do not seem serious. The one is being punished for not guarding against urine splashing on him and the other for carrying tales.”

[Bukhaari 218, from Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Abbaas (RA)]

This Hadith proves that the punishment in the grave is true and that people will start receiving punishment already in their graves for their sins.
